You say is dead because you want carding the same way all your life...
like you go older and see things changing around you
security change too, like magnetic stripe, emv, nfc...
is all a mater of how you look on the problem
Most all transaction need a sms code today but this is even old already...
Most bank go to DSP2, that mean they add another security + sms
So if we listen to your talk is not DEAD is RESIDENT EVIL now
If you add S.E to your skills you will understand that is the most hight way.
Because is easy to do and is bypassing most of security.

So make people owner doing it for you is the way

If you dont study your art, no one will do it for you
Surface knowledge never resolve problem
A simple phone call spoofed pretending to be someone important can resolve your carding easily
And can even be automated, kids of 17 years old do it, 14 years old
Why ?
Because they understand what is around them, they study there subject and do it
not blabla things they dont even understand...
