Utopia - soft for anonymity

I don't think it's a delay. It was announced for 2020 without exact date. I'm sure developers wanna fix the desktop version first, and now, especially due to the fact of distance working, nothing will interrupt the guys from developing a mobile version.

And what do you think, will the crisis that begins in connection with coronavirus affect the release of the mobile version? For me it seems too real!

Programmers and developers can simply work from home. They save time that was lost on the way to office and can fully concentrate on their work. So I really believe it won't affect the work anyhow.

yes, you know, that sounds like the truth. although we know little about developers and they can be hired workers who fulfill an order for money.

I don't think we have to be nervous about that. As you can see, updates for desktop version regularly appear. And if guys told that they'll release a mobile version this year, I'm sure they'll do that. Anyway, for now, sitting under the quarantine, desktop version is enough. Btw, do u participate in COVID-19 chat? Quite interesting discussions are held there.

Is it secure? Because I can't seen source code as it's propietary so it could be doing things in background. Do you think I should get?

Yes, I recently registered there and I can say that I have already joined a couple of chats, and one of them is covid-19 chat. And so much news was published there that they will not publish anywhere else, oddly enough. Probably due to the fact that everything is anonymous, people are not afraid to write the truth.

For sure, many are afraid of sharing info in other social media as many govs hide the real situation and such people can be punished for that. And no matter Utopia has a closed code, people believe in it.

Okay, how long have you been using this app? Can you share your impressions? what are the pros and cons? I am particularly interested in learning about how user support is developed there.

I'm using it from its release, I guess.. Like for 4-5 months. Everything is nice, I only lack video calls there. As it seems like all the messengers providing video calls are not secured, but people continue using it as they have no alternative. Now, during the isolation, it's really needed. Miss my foreign friends so much..(
