Dumps checker

Is it good to run a checker on dumps before using? I've ran a checker on dumps twice and both came back with a 05 code before i tried going to atm, is it better to just go straight to atm instead of running dump checker?

It’s not good to check dumps with checker because it’s fucks up the dumps
