Cashiers match the number on the card, if youre serious about getting in that business you should look into a puncher/embosser. Also pre chack cards before you go in to make sure you dont get a Hold Card and that youre card is not red flagged already(not online checker, never use those. But actually manually check somewhere like a parking meter or something. There was a thread about this already here).

As inferno says, make sure your card isnt flagged (which will get in case u use online checkers).

Yes in most cases it red flags cards right after the check, thats why you should always buy cards with a refund policy with atleast of an hour so you can and check the card manually and still have time to refund it. Unless you have a seller that you know has very good info and u can rely on and but with no refund
