Or you can check your bin it should be a 1800 number listed for that bin call that number follow the promts first it go ask you for the card number & exp date then Pin if it say u enter wrong account number dump is dead if it keep asking u more questions possibly the dump is live

basically best way to do it is like that.
1. Get merchant number usually 7digits (when they give you reciept to sign look for letters MID or merchant number and remember first four digits next to them) and on your customer reciept you will see rest three or four. Because on customer reciept first 4 digits are covered
2. There is automated phone authorisation system you call them tell merchant number then they ask 16 digits card number and expiry date
for example 4045480006130317=181210107813564 so first 16 digits before = is card number and next four is expiry year and month. so on this one 4045480006130317 and 12/18
3. Find automated authorisation phone number yourself not that hard

and do standart authorisation for minimum ammount. They will not take any money just make authorisation for funds. If it says its approved that means u ok, if says transaction could not be authorised that means card may be live but declined and if it transfers you to operator you have hold call or retain

Good tip bro, i didnt even know this. But as i understand to do this you gotta do a swipe with the card first so that kinda defeats the purpose, no ? If it got approved then its approved unless you wanna keep the card for multiple swipes and want to double check before every swipe.

staples copy machine, no one at staples bothers you and you can check as many as you want all day they will think you are just making copies, its safe because no one is over your back looking at what you are doing and it doesn't charge anything unless you make actual copies.
