Is 4g/LTE enough to not get detected?

I use a hacked Wifi plus socks5 to hide myself, i consider that enough.
But wouldnt 4g/lte in itself be enough ? in Uk, simcards are costing next to nothing, and mobile data is relatively affordable, Is there a way my location can be obtained from it ?
I figured the mobile mast can be, but that covers a relatively big residential area, can they pinpoint me down more ?

If he’s just doing normal fraud and he is in area with high population then nothing will happen
For example if you are in area many high rises they cannot see what floor or room exactly you are in with pinging

My thoughts exactly, they get the lte masts, maybe a triangulation like in fucking CSI, but not elevation, plus long range lte antenna is a thing..
More importantly the simcard and imei on the receiver would be the weak elements i think, and that i can change easily.
now with 5g coming out i lean more and more towards simplicity..

correct me if i'm wrong but i believe that the sim cards has a shared ip i'm not sure if it's true or still the same thing but i used to have one and tried rebooting my device more than once and when i checked my 4g sim ip it gives the same one, maybe i'm wrong or maybe each sim has an ip assigned to it, so just be always safe out there, use a trusted vpn not those who have a lot of hype going on

Using 4g/lte as the first layer of connection is very wise, but I would add extra layer like VPN, socks depending on what business you are doing. The police can use triangulation to determine roughly location and how accurate that is depends on how many mobile towers/distance from your device to the mobile towers I think. I suggest for example changing not only sim-card for example every 3th month but also the device like Modem too because they have IMEI number so its possible to keep tracking the device even you only change sim.
I personally would do something like 4G Pre-paid on fake info - Buy a reliable VPS server anonymously with BTC/Monero, then connect to server through TOR by using proxifier software. or just VPN. Inside the VPS you can add another layer like Socks.

Best option would be to find another wifi network to hack with better connection speed and connect to Tor.
