RFID Skimming

Anyone know a thing or two about RFID skimming?
From what I understand, it's possible but the skimmed information can only be used for a single transaction and must be used before the cardholder uses their card?

yes but not RFID bro RFID Radio Frequency Identification
..if NFC its skimmng i know about it...the app name NFCrmt i have it but only work with some pos only ...

While RFID can be used to receive and transmit radio waves over distances of 100 metres or more (for active tags, equipped with their own battery), NFC is limited to no more than 20 cm in the best cases. In reality, NFC's range is more like 0 to 5 cm.
