Anyone want to start a new Mirai/DDoS service?

I've been playing around with the Marai source code lately (I know kind of old news, but it is still the best thing out there right?)
I'm not very good wth C so the learning curve is hard for me as a Python programmer
But I just think with some help it could really be extended to do more. New exploits are coming out every day and it seems like you don't need to be that smart, just quicker than everyone else to gobble up new zombie devices.
Anyways, I am more interested in the programming/hacking side and would like to find a group where we could work on it together for fun.
Preferably looking for someone who is good with C, someone who is good with exploits, or someone who is good with monetizing this type of work.
