ATM malware card needed

What are the details, is it just a card?

It doesn't infect the ATM with just a swipe, writing an EMV chip as validation process by the malware is the fun part, the card only interacts with the malware on the ATM so it just "activates" the existing malware therefore giving you access on it via the pin pad, see Ripper for example.
