Do dump code 1xx work without B char in T1 ?

Do dump code 1xx work without B char in T1 ?
All of my dump sniffed from my merchant always have B in track 1
B4xxxxxxxxxxxxx^AAAAAA/BBBBB^4xxxxxx
But when i buy dumps from some store, in T1 they do not have B
only:
4xxxxxxxxxxxxxx^AAAA...........
Question:
Do card work without B char in T1 ?
I will give free 5 asia D+P for who can answer and explain the reason why.
