Go ahead bud, we ain't in 2009 anymore no need to peel anything or burn any chip even the older versions of EMV should work if the ARQC, bin and ARC are correct.
Try J2A080 works fine also be sure the ICVV works fine, and always (if you can find one )
prefer offline transactions.
