A question about carding

I know a few places to buy and have an idea of what I'm doing and what to do, as I've been looking into this for a few months so far, I know the right places and sites BUT.
I plan on just buying a shit ton of online things, such as gift cards, points and all and to sell them, my question is.
How safe would it be for me to use them myself OR sell those cards second hand, at a discount. I know a few people and have potential clients, cash out methods and shit.
So lets use physical carding for an example, you load up a card and goto the store, buy a prepaid card and then YOU use it, like to buy whatever you wanna buy, games, food, pay rent of whatever, my question is HOW safe is that? For YOU?
me>partner>partner's client>buyer
Maybe its not the same exact thing as carding IRL, like you could buy a few xbox's, keep one and then sell the rest, but if those xbox's got seized, how would it link back to you?
Because the client's partner will NOT know its carded, so they'd likely work with LE and provide the contact details for whoever sold it or whatever.
Hopefully it sorta makes sense what I'm asking
