It depends on where you live. Like in EU,USA it is pretty difficult to cash out btc because of the local laws.
If i would be you just search for local sellers and buy btc/monero from them.
Websites like localmonero etc are good for that.
But i would prefer monero in any case above btc because of it's anonymity aspect.
