Gift cards from accounts recovered by email?

I have an access to an email and there is a few shops with valuable gift cards but I can't pay with a linked card because the shop wants me to reenter the card number or cvv. Will it work if I pay with another credit card? Does it have any difference from buying gift cards from a new account?

Depends on the shop, you may be required to verify the new card.
The only difference is that the account is aged and that's good.

Is antifraund easier if I use a new card on an old account or is it the same as a new account?
