This Guide was written with the ill intention of clarifying how a Charge Back occurs.
It should help you plan ahead especially if you fucking with E-commerce Fraud or carding your average website for shipping physical products.
After placing a Fraudulent Charge on a Credit Card, Here's is what the card
holder will do.
On rare occasions we have those paranoid card holders who check their credit card statements on a regular basis for a couple of reasons:
First, to keep track of their spending and avoid going overboard, second to be vigilant about fraud.
Some have had their credit card number stolen before, and they know what a hassle it can be to dispute a charge, so they figure checking
frequently can keep them ahead of those issues.
When they notice the pending fraudulent charge, First thing they will do Is call their credit card company and ask for the charge not to go through.
Fortunately for us LoL, their credit card company won't oblige -- they cannot stop the charge from posting to the Card holder’s account. They will try explain that the charge isn't legitimate and that they disputed it, but once again, their credit card company won't help.
They will be told again that a dispute cannot happen until the charge goes
through.
At this point, they will get pretty frustrated. But the credit card company representative will give them some good advice -- call the merchant on the fraudulent charge and ask them to reserve it, LoL.
If you setup your E-commerce website they will try contact the company run by ‘You’, and explain the situation, and ask you to undo/reverse the charge.
If you dumb af or the company legit, they will be more than willing to reverse, and sure enough, when they check their credit card balance a few days later, that fraudulent charge will be no longer pending. And because the charge never went through, they won't have to dispute it.
I also usually use this trick if I want to reuse cc if I notice my setup is burnt, it usually works perfectly but cardholder gets extra paranoid.
POINTS TO LEARN
You generally have 60 days to dispute a charge.
If the card holder has an erroneous charge on their credit card, it's best they act quickly because they only have a limited window of time to dispute a credit card charge.
Generally, that's 60 days, but some credit card issuers have specific agreements when signing up for a card.
A dispute cannot happen until the charge goes through.
