That is not clearly incorrect. The shop automatically passes card info to Luxchecker and 4check in the background when checked via their API and they reply with the responses.
The result "Auth-Failed" is not documented as invalid/wrong CVV with Luxchecker. It means that the bank declined the authentication due to their own reason and won't give a response to whether or not the CVV matched.
When a CVV isn't matched the response is "Not matched"
In fact, many cards will return 05 with "Auth-Failed" for the CVV response after the card has been burned.
