We use Luxchecker and 4check. Sometimes checks are done from Luxchecker and sometimes from 4check. Luxchecker will return 00 for 0$ pre-auth checks while 4check returns 85 for the same type of check. Here is an example of a card checked with Luxchecker using 0$ PreAuth:
