It's not only about using the best checkers in the market, they have options of checking, 2 of which are pre-auth and charge modes, pre-auth gives innacurate results, it is just enough to have a live cc from pre-auth and try to use on the easiest site ever and for 1 dollar to know that cc is not live, then this time not our problem but instead the checker.
