Privacy Possum is an extension for Firefox that prevents the acceptance of cookies, blocks HTTP set-cookie headers, and distorts the browser fingerprint, which makes fingerprinting difficult.
To use it, you just need to install it. The plugin has no advanced settings: you can enable or disable it, and on the configuration page you can disable automatic updates and allow it to run in a private window.
