how do I identify which one takes on pw or not?

If im not mistaken you cant, id depends on how the issuer programmed the POS, saw an article on this somewhere, visually same pos in a different store might work just fine, its the company that proceses the transaction sets the rules. Cant remember on top of my head but somewhere by the cash there should be a set of stickers, visa, mc, etc on one of those stickers should have the name of the processing company, remember which one it was and stay away from it.
Most likely that shop got raped already so they got switched to pin on both insert and swipe so i suggest you stay away from it

yea what he said...word of advice....get a hang of different POS systems by using your own card with your own money doing legit transactions and just peep how everything go from the approval process and actions of cashier

Yeah, you're completely right. I came back the next day, and she told mee that the rule in the country is that they must ask and record your ID before allowing a swipe authorization! FML https://txgate.io/images/smilies/fuu.png

Just wondering but what country is that?

Blackwood 01-10-2025 03:07 PM

Actually most places ask for ID and it has nothing to do with the country. If youre planing to run dumps get ready to get a fake id, preferably two

danhhhik 01-10-2025 03:09 PM

Shit happens.. I had a Puerto Rico dump that would say invalid pin every time I swiped it. Confused the fuck out the cashier and myself
