This post is from a different site. I just thought I should share it here. If you go to the original post and show some support that's awesome, the site also has a ton of other good free stuff right there. You should definitely check it out. [censored by www] Steal physical gift cards for FREE - The victims never know until the money's gone! written by AppleSaucePie. This is how to scam gift cards which you can then use online or write the dumps from the giftcards on to a new card to swipe in store. Step one is to go over to your local walmart, or any other store that has gift cards out on display stands. Gift cards don't have any value until they're activated and loaded at a cash register so nobody cares about them. They never have security tags and they're just out on displays. Grab a handful of walmart giftcards and wander around the store. Slip them into your pocket when you have a chance to, then head out the door and leave. Take these home and make sure you have an exacto knife and some acetone or rubbing alcohol. So we're sitting at a nice work area with a stack of walmart gift cards with absolutely no balance what-so-ever with an exacto knife in one of our hands. Great If we flip the card over to the back side we'll see the scartch off area that covers the last 4 digits of the card number and the pin. If we actually look at that you'll see that it's just a sticker. We're going to take our exacto knife or razor blade and carefully peel that sticker up. It's going to take a little practice but the first time I did this I think it was only an hour or so before I was frequently getting 95% of them off cleanly without ripping them. That's going to reveal the last 4 digits to the card number and the card pin. Store that information somewhere safe, preferably on your PC. If you want to clone these later and swipe plastic cards in store then just swipe the card through your msr at this point and save the track data along with the full card number and the pin. After we have a list of all of the information for all of the cards we're going to prep the card to put those stickers back on. If you want to save the trouble of getting the stickers off cleanly then you can look around online and you'll find similar designed security stickers that you can buy. They won't be a perfect match but they'll be close enough in most situations. I like the free route of just practicing to remove them. It doesn't take long to get conistent at getting them off. Anyway, before we attach the sticker again we want to make sure the card still looks like a brand new card of course. If there's any of the adhesive on the card where it shouldn't be that might be something that eventually gets noticed. Take the alcohol or acetone and wet down a rag or a sponge and gently clean any adhesive on the card where it shouldn't be. Now re-attach your stickers to the cards. Usually the adhesive they already had there will still be on the back of the sticker and will more than likely still be more than strong enough to hold the sticker. If it isn't then just put a tiny bit of clear super glue on the back and use that. It's important to make sure it's on straight, you can use a small t-square from a hardware store to line it up perfectly with a flat surface and make sure it's straight. You should be fine eyeballing it though. Now we have our cards that look like they did when we took them from the store, and we have all of the information for those cards. Perfect. Take the cards back to Walmart or whatever store they came from. Do some shopping, when you get chances to slip the gift cards back onto the shelves. This part is even easier than taking them, which is a piece of cake too. It doesn't look suspicious to put giftcards on a shelf, if anyone notices it's that you changed your mind and decided you we're going to get $5 giftcards for presents at a family reunion but you decided to get starbucks ones instead. But it's super unlikely you'll ever even have to explain that much, nobody EVER is going to think that you already took those cards home and harvested the information and brought them back. Nobody. Go home, check the balances to them from the website or phone number daily. Once you see they've been loaded with a balance, spend it. Either go online and order it to your drop, add the card to a walmart account and use walmart pay on a burner phone to use the card number and pin in store if you don't have a magnetic stripe reader/writer. Or use you MSR to rewrite the tracks from whichever cards now have a balance and go swipe them in the store. You can just go steal new empty cards and use those for plastic to write the tracks on to, so that part is free too. It's little bits of money, but it's a good hustle to help people get going when they don't have money to invest. Buy whatever items you can quickly re-sell, electronics are a good option when you can get something people will want. Anything works though honestly. I do this to get my burner phones. I have 13 cheap ass phones with 13 different numbers that are good for 3 months each thanks to this little scam. I only do 3 months at a time on those because they're burners, they're meant to be thrown out after they're used for a bit. Enjoy your free giftcards. |
AMAZING |
this shit is old, like very old... everybody knows about the giftcard fraud, they even showed this in the news a few times over the years, store security is also paying close attention to the gift card stands at the stores, it was fun like 10 years ago, maybe 15... but hey, thanks for sharing! |
