There's no such statistics for sure, but reading crypto forums, I see that there are lots of them. Someone starts a hype around the coin and people are going crazy. I have no idea what exactly causes such mass adoption of new no-name coins.. Especially while there are lots of stories about how people lose money in such way.

I would even say that if any of the new and hype coins turned out to be reliable, then this news would definitely turn the whole crypto world upside down.
