You can process any card that has a visa/MC logo on it as a credit card. some banks will give you cash back if you use your debit as credit. I know paypal pays 1% back if you use the paypal debit as credit. cheaper processing on the banks side.

i must admit i rather the 1 dip because the transaction can go a lot quicker. 3 dips raise to much suspicion and pro long the transaction which can possibly mark me in the store, with one dip i can atleast cancel out the chip and swipe the card before they realize whats going on. some stores don't even notice the difference in chips especially if everything matches.

what is 1 dip? ive not heard of it

1 dip is chip cards that allow you to swipe after dipping the chip in the pos one time rather than 3 times

i dont recomend doing either of those, theres still plenty of 101 to go around

local CU 101's still the way to go.

another ? if I may. after reading around here a bit more, I am led to believe that if I have chipped cards with a chip that is larger than the standard bank chip, that is what triggers the one dip? whereas disabling a normal size chip triggers 3 dip?
where are people getting good blank cards with chips? everything Amazon has is garbage and so far no one else has them because they are associated with fraud. LOL anyone have any ideas where to look?
