so if i use balance chcecker lets say for 1200, should i swipe for exactly same amounth then? what if i swipe for 1050.20? what exactly means pre-author?

Pre-auth is when bank/merchant hold card funds temporarily, usually the pre-auth amount gets refunded after few hours but some banks may take days, all depends on the bank.
