@ mpaul447: UK banks and some other banks have many restrictions when its about pre-auth, like if you check a card from a foreign merchant (usa as example) it may give a fake DECLINE 05 (Do not honor), unfortunately we cant control this, if the checker return 05 decline, there is a chance that the card is still live, this is why many legit cardholders get their payment declined even if their card is live and have enough funds and need to call the bank to authorize the payment manually.
Checker is always accurate, we check for card validity, not card balance, we work with 0$ pre-auth, merchants never lie but in some cases the bank return a false DECLINE.
It happens a card may give a temporary decline (05 code) which means card can decline now and approve later, or viceversa.

@ 109cash: LuxChecker does not kill unless your bin is very sensitive.
@ mpaul447: When it gives 05 decline (do not honor) it means the card is live but the bank refusing the pre-auth for some reason.
